Rachael Gittins work is primarily concerned with narrative and different ways of using her and others fiction. She seeks to subvert the idea of education as being something formal and structured. Art, in its purest, image-based form, can be an incredibly powerful way of reaching out to people, and encouraging interaction between them and information, and she strives to constantly utilise this. Originally from North Wales, she now lives and works in Manchester.
